Dental Assistant – Experienced or Trainee Location: Ouyen
Tankard Dental is a modern, progressive dental clinic with locations in Ouyen, Mildura, Robinvale, and Irymple.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team in Ouyen. This role is open to both experienced dental assistants and those looking to start their career in the dental industry. For those without formal qualifications, we offer full support and on-the-job training while you complete your Certificate III in Dental Assisting (through Bendigo TAFE, off-campus) if required.
About the Role
As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with dental procedures, including chairside support, suction, and material preparation.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control throughout the clinic.
- Processing x-rays, cleaning instruments and equipment.
- Providing clear and courteous information to patients as directed by the dentist.
- Performing general administrative duties, such as greeting patients and updating records.

Key Details
- Hours: Weekdays between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
- Some travel to our Irymple or Mildura clinics may occasionally be required.
- Remuneration: Negotiable, based on experience.
